My dad was a Deputy Chief 44th Battalion and although retired for many many years he was always a fireman. Today he passed at the age of 95 years old. He invented the command board which was used to locate and track "his" men. He would want me to write a note on this page. DC Lucien P. Imundi.

Hi im Robert Jospeh McKeowns, granddaughter. Today is his birthday, and I am painting a potrait of him as his birthday present. It would be great to find a picture of him in uniform, or just a picture of him taken by the FDNY that he would remember. Would anyone know any medals he would have recieved, or what his position was in the FDNY? The only information that I could give you would be that he is retired, has recieved a medal, and joined the FDNY around 1960-1994 and he may have been stationed either in Brooklyn or the Bronx. Any info would be so helpful. Thank you!

Can anyone tell me where I can find information on my Grandfather who was a member in the early 1900s. I believe he was with Engine 213 in Brooklyn.
